“God loves us and desires for us to have a relationship with Him. Man’s fellowship with God was broken for all of us by Adam in the Garden of Eden. Adam’s failure brought sin to all mankind and because of sin our fellowship with God was broken.
God tells us in His Holy Word, the Bible, that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). In other words we have fallen short of God’s standard. All of us, period.
But God loves us so much that He provided a way for us to be reconciled to Him. He gave us His only Son, Jesus Christ (John 3:16). Jesus who was both fully human and fully divine came and was born of a virgin, conceived by the Holy Spirit. He lived a sinless life and was crucified on a cross bearing all of our sins for us. For you see that the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).There is always a price to pay and sin is no exception and the penalty for sin is death. Jesus paid that price of death for us that we could be reconciled to God. And because Jesus was sinless, sin and the devil had no hold on Him and after three days in the tomb Jesus was resurrected and now sits at God the Father’s right hand making intercession for those that would accept Him through faith as their Lord and Savior.
Jesus Christ is the only mediator between man and God and to be saved and spend eternity with God in heaven we must accept Jesus through faith. This means we must believe God’s record of Him in the Bible and we must make a confession of our sins to Him and ask him to come into our heart and be Lord of our life. In believing we must turn away from our sinful life and strive to live godly lives through the power of the Holy Spirit. Living for God as a Christian involves studying His Word, the Bible, and fellowshipping with other Christians in a solid Bible believing church, and letting the Holy Spirit direct our lives.
Salvation is a free gift from God. We cannot earn it or buy it. We can only accept it by taking God up on His offer of it to us. This is how we become sons and daughters of God. We must choose to be His.
For all who do not choose to make God their heavenly Father eternity will be spent in Hell rather than in Heaven. God’s wishes that none would perish in a devil’s hell and that all of us would come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Jesus is coming back soon to take those that trust in Him and in doing so He will spare them from God’s rightful judgment of the world. Please accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior before it is too late.
Tomorrow is promised to no one so don’t put it off. Salvation is as simple as confessing that you are a sinner and that you need Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:10). Many people make this confession but never truly believe in their heart. If you have truly given Jesus your heart you will begin to live for Him and He will direct your life. God loves us and He is a gracious and merciful Heavenly Father, choose God.”
